With the exponential growth in
Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sector,
high-skilled manpower is required by the industry to fill
the jobs being created. These sectors are very dynamic and
need continuous training and re-training of human resources
at a rapid, pace. To meet the challenges most effectively,
the Punjab Infotech has launched its state-wide CAL-C
Franchising Scheme (CFS) in the northern region.
The CAL-C is a division of Punjab Information Communication
Technology Corporation Limited with its headquarters at
Chandigarh. The CAL-C Franchise Scheme (CFS) endeavors to
generate high quality professionals with up-to-date skills
and education, in computer and information technology
disciplines, at an affordable cost, while ensuring uniform
instruction quality standards in order to build a national
pool of IT trained work-force. CFS features like low course
fees and short term courses, make this education accessible
to all the people, even in relatively small, semi urban and
rural areas. State-of-the-art training is provided, keeping
in view the existing and emerging needs of the industrial
and government sectors. All Examinations are conducted by
CAL-C HO and certificates are awarded by Punjab Infotech.
